The course characteristics favour a game of precision also because of the presence of numerous “out-of-bounds” which encourage prudent play for those whose shots tend to stray. There are 36 sand bunkers and 3 grass bunkers, a lake which comes into play on two holes (Nos. 10 and 15) and a stream which crosses the course in numerous places.
